Dr.Sheng-ce Tao believes that technology development is one of the major driving forces for biological and clinical researches.

Ever since Dr.Tao set up his laboratory at Institute of Systems Biomedicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University at the beginning of 2009, his major focus is always high-throughput technology development and application.

Currently, the major technologies of the Tao lab are:

1) Protein microarray technology;

2) Phage display-based antibody technology.

The major application of these technologies are biomedical researches, from biomarker discovery, drug target identification, and etc.
